Carbon Fiber

Carbon fiber is a high tech advanced material offering great strength and elasticity,
Based on the technology it accrued from the production of acrylic fiber,
Taekwang Industrial successfully developed PAN-based carbon fiber Precursors in 2009
and commenced commercial production of Precursor at 3,000 tons per year
and carbon fiber at 1,500 tons per year for the first time in Korea in March 2012.

With the advantage of having a vertically integrated production system,
Taekwang Industrial provides carbon fiber that is excellent in quality yet reasonable
in price thanks to its cost competitiveness. Taekwang Industrial’s carbon fiber products
will meet the demands in various fields including sports and leisure, construction
and civil engineering, aviation, automobile, energy etc.
